The 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea emphasized that in the economic work, capital construction should be prioritized and a new construction revolution for fundamentally changing the living environments of the people should be made so as to continue to usher in the heyday of the capital city construction including the building of 10 000 flats planned for 2022 and open an era when the local areas will change.
The grand programme for huge construction unfolded by the WPK shows its steadfast will to wage steadily the creative struggle for the people whatever trials and difficulties may disturb it.
Construction is not merely an economic and technical work but is an important political work to enhance overall national strength of the country, inspire the people with confidence and lead them to socialist culture.
Fully aware of significance and importance of construction work in hastening the national economic development and the stabilization and improvement of the people’s living, the DPRK people are now waging a more dynamic struggle for the new construction revolution.
