After the Seventh Party Congress, the WPK’s strategy for self-reliance was developed into a strategy for offensive to turn the hostile forces’ mean sanctions into a golden opportunity for strengthening self-development capability and internal motive force and into a political line to be constantly adhered to in the building of socialism.
In those days, the DPRK people kept in mind more deeply that self-reliance is the only way out and confirmed their faith and will to do everything with their own efforts and wisdom, resource and technology at all costs.
The DPRK demonstrated the spirit of creation and created constantly the wealth of happiness even in the period when everything was needed owing to successive trials and difficulties.
Learned to live, to defeat enemies, to brave difficulties and to defend their dignity and rights, with their own under the unprecedentedly long and harsh circumstances, the DPRK people will advance vigorously with the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance under the leadership of the WPK and the bright future of Juche Korea will be hastened further.
