The Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea held in January 2021 set forth the task of constructing every year for 5 years 10 000 flats in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK, so as to solve mainly the housing problems of Pyongyangites.
10 000 flats will be constructed in 2021 in the Songsin and Songhwa areas in Sadong District, Pyongyang.
Lots of people including those in the areas are full of happiness at the thought that that they will move into good houses. Looking at the happy people, others tell them, “You must be happy as you will soon be provided with new flats.” The people reply, “Don’t envy us. The Party will surely construct new flats also for you.”
The Pyongyangites are full of hope, optimism and joy as they have the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, who initiated the construction of a new street where the people will live and who is now leading the construction energetically.
