The Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea clearly indicated the tasks and ways for providing the people with better medical benefits by developing the socialist healthcare into the most advantageous and advanced public health.
The public health is an important undertaking for protecting and promoting the life and health of the people and it is an eternal state policy of the Republic to steadily develop the public health.
The public health field is the one in which the popular policies of the Party and state are manifested intensively. The popular policies of the Party and state vividly reflect the WPK’s idea and politics of “The people are God”, regarding man as the most precious being in the world and sparing nothing for life and health of the people.
The state invariably enforces popular policies both in peaceful times and trying days and expands and develops them. It is the invariable intention of the WPK that the people are the most precious beings in the world and one should pluck even a star from the sky and bring a flower into bloom even on a rock if this is desired by the people.
All popular policies of the WPK and the state for protecting and promoting the life and health of the people are the important ones and they are crystallization of human love unprecedented in the world.
Happy images of the DPRK people, who receive the high-level medical services at the modern medical centers as usual while arousing the world people’s admiration and envy, are the proud picture that can be found only in the most advantageous and popular public health system in which the Party and the state take responsible care of life and health of the people.
Through their actual life, the DPRK people keenly feel the benefits of socialism and the value of the socialist public health system as the WPK sets it as the eternal state policy of the Republic to steadily develop public health.
