Achieving a great fresh victory on all fronts by remarkably increasing its own strength, its internal force, in socialist construction—this is the main idea and main spirit of the 8^th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
In other words, the DPRK’s internal force must be readjusted and rearranged in a comprehensive way and, on the basis of this, the DPRK must make a frontal attack against all hardships to open up a road of new advance.
Pulsating in the main idea and main spirit of the 8^th Congress of the WPK is the confidence in the inexhaustible might, the potentiality for development latent in the DPRK that enabled the DPRK to register great and unprecedented successes in the face of the protracted blockade and severe disasters. And the main idea and main spirit of the 8^th Congress of the WPK also contains the iron will of the WPK to break through the prevailing trials facing the DPRK and achieve a fresh victory in the socialist construction by further strengthening the internal motive force.
The people in the DPRK are waging vigorous struggle to hasten a fresh victory of the socialist construction, keeping the idea and spirit of the 8^th Congress of the WPK deep in their minds.
