On April 21, 2014, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited Songdowon International Children’s Camp where its remodeling project was near completion.
He was very pleased to say that the camp appeared as if it had been newly built instead of having been remodeled and that it looked like a roll of beautiful picture. He said with great satisfaction that the kings’ palaces which had been in the past could not be compared with the Children’s Camp.
When he was heading to the newly-built outdoor playground, the officials asked him to take a car. But he continued to walk in front, saying that there is no need to take a car in such nice place.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un left traces of love on his every step as he was so pleased at the fact that the children, the future of the country were provided with another wonderful architecture that embodies the WPK’s view of rising generation.
Noting that blue roof of the playground was in good harmony with the camp on the seashore and the synthetic grass on the football field looked nice, he enjoyed the bird’s-eye view of the outdoor playground for a long while.
He told the officials, who were impressed while recalling the devotion he made for the remodeling of the camp, to organize a juvenile football game on the synthetic grass football ground at the inaugural ceremony of the camp. He also corrected the shortcomings, saying it would be good to install floodlight towers in the playground so that the children could play football even at night and to change the color of the running track into color of sand.
As they have Supreme Leader’s great love for the future which cannot be compared to the sum of all parents’ love, the Korean people sing the song We are the Happiest in the World so earnestly.
