In 2014 when he gave field guidance to the Wisong Scientists Residential District, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un went first to Wisong Primary School in Unjong District, Pyongyang.
That day the Supreme Leader wore a broad smile all the time as if he had heard the sound of children’s reading and happy laughter to be resounded over the Wisong Scientists Residential District.
The Supreme Leader gave meticulous instructions so as to leave nothing to be desired even about the desks and the problem of heating classrooms.
After a while he entered the indoor swimming pool.
He was very glad to see the swimming pool filled with clear water and said that there were not many schools with such a large indoor swimming pool.
Then he suddenly asked officials why the swimming pool didn’t have a spillway groove. One of the officials who couldn’t grasp his intention replied that overflown water could be drained through several holes on the walls of the pool.
The Supreme Leader heard the official’s reply with silent smile and explained the reason why a spillway groove is made in pool.
The Supreme Leader acquainted himself with the measure of heating water of the swimming pool and clarified orientation and ways of fully furnishing the indoor swimming pool so that it could be used every season.
The Supreme Leader showed warm affection when he calculated water level of the swimming pool to suit the age and physical constitution of pupils at primary school and when he stressed again to secure the water level as desired by the rules.
The Supreme Leader also advised the officials that it was necessary to install backboards for children at the indoor basketball court and took benevolent measure of covering the outdoor playground with artificial lawn.
