    On December 17, 2011, the Korean people suffered from national loss. They lost leader Kim Jong Il who had continued the most active, self-sacrificing and devoted high-intensity forced march of field guidance for the good of the country and the people.

    It was the last day of the year of bitter tears when the Korean people lost leader Kim Jong Il all of a sudden.

    Saying that leader Kim Jong Il went through every hardship and greeted dawn before others every day after working till 3 or 4 in the morning, respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said that he would not be satisfied with his work done even though he did as much as possible and was impatient for the time being only 24 hours a day whenever he thought that he takes charge of the destiny of the country and people bequeathed by leader Kim Jong Il.

    He made historic pledge, saying…Sleeping or waking, I am thinking how to implement leader Kim Jong Il’s behests with credit. It is my firm decision and will to make our people well-off without envying anything in the world by strengthening further the People’s Army and immediately building on this land a powerful socialist country to be admired by the world, with my hard labour. I will follow the leader’s mode of revolution, the mode of life throughout my life. From now on I will break the dawn of the DPRK instead of the leader…

    Immortal revolutionary history recorded by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un since the historic day is consistent with his ardent desire to build the most powerful country, the people’s paradise to be admired by the whole world by adding eternal luster to the ideological and leadership exploits of great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and translating their behests into reality.
