“All Sailors Should Train Themselves into Versatile Ones”

One July day in 1975 Chairman Kim Jong Il inspected a naval unit to guide sailors’ military training.

Seeing accurate and prompt changes of formation of battleships, Kim Jong Il appreciated the sailors repeatedly. He told with satisfaction the officials that the DPRK’s navy was no that of yesterday and their commands were skillful and their art of navigation developed beyond recognition.

Kim Jong Il stressed that all sailors should train themselves into versatile ones as taught by President Kim Il Sung and they could bury aggressors’ large warships in the sea only when they were possessed of indomitable offensive spirit based on bravery and boldness.
