At the 5^th National Conference of Mothers held in December 2023, newly instituted Communist Mother Honour Prize was awarded to those who, cherishing boundless loyalty to the Party and ardent patriotism, fulfill their responsibility and duty as mothers for their society and families so as to make distinguished contributions to the prosperity of the country.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un met those who received the prize and praised them for their efforts.

In his speech On Duty of Mothers for Their Families and Society delivered at the conference, Kim Jong Un repeatedly praised the immortal services of the most righteous and strong mothers who became the genuine models of patriotism as well as the roots for bringing up a large number of heroes in the glorious history of the country which advances by winning victories through all sorts of hardships. On behalf of the Party Central Committee and the government of the Republic, he once again warmly congratulated the mothers who received the prize.

The women who are plain, simple and common apparently became the heroines of dignified honour of the communist mothers thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s love.
