It was in July 1973 when I was received by President Kim Il Sung in a quiet place of a big lake surrounded by thick pine trees.
That day Kim Il Sung particularly emphasized the Juche idea, the guiding idea of state building. I was deeply impressed.
Kim Il Sung repeated explanations on independence, self-support and self-defence that enable to build and defend one’s country by oneself without relying on others and imitating them. His explanations were full of confidence to be moved by nothing.
The DPRK rose from the war debris and it has brought about today’s development with its own strength. These brilliant achievements are supported by the Juche idea.
