On July 7, 1995 Chairman Kim Jong Il looked round the Kumsusan area on a tram. At that time many people including those who were planting lawn along the roadway followed the tram and cheered Kim Jong Il enthusiastically.

A few days later Kim Jong Il told officials that the people were following his tram while cheering him adding that such a true scene cannot to be produced even though somebody asked them to do.

Then Kim Jong Il continued that, looking at those people, he made a firm resolution to make the revolution better in order to provide them with more improved livelihood.
