From the end of November till the beginning of December 2019 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un had a historic horseback march to Mt Paektu.

While leaving the sacred trace on virgin snow in falling snow, Kim Jong Un underscored the need to arouse the strong wind of education in the revolutionary traditions through the study tours of the revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area. Then he said that the study tours should be organized a lot in winter.

Officials were surprised. As a matter of fact, they used to find it difficult to make study tours in winter owing to the changeable and harsh winter climate of the Mt Paektu area.

Looking at them Kim Jong Un said that making study tours of the revolutionary battle sites in nice season is just the same as having a picnic.

Later in the 5^th Plenary Meeting of the 7^th Party Central Committee Kim Jong Un emphasized that there should not be a person who has not climbed on Mt Paektu nor experienced the blizzards of Mt Paektu among the officials, working people and younger generations.
