One April day in 2014 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un met the commanding officers of the combined units of the Korean People’s Army, who were on the study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area, and inspired and encouraged them, on the spot.

That day Kim Jong Un said that the commanding officers of the combined units might experience blizzards of Mt Paektu while having a forced march, open-air sleep and meal as the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters had done.

He said that the main purpose of the Party who organized the study tour of revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area for the commanding officers of the People’s Army was to imbue them with the revolutionary spirit of Mt Paektu and train them to be true revolutionaries who have conviction in sure victory.
