The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said in his opening address delivered at the 5^th National Conference of Mothers held on December 3, 2023 that the self-sacrificing devotion displayed by all the mothers for the good of the country and their spirit and strength provided nourishment not simply for their own families but for the future of their motherland as well, and this has propelled the great socialist family to dynamically advance by dint of its solid unity based on virtues and tender feeling.

Kim Jong Un highly praised by saying that, because the small fences of families which the mothers have built up with care out of a feeling of patriotism, constitute the cornerstone that firmly supports the country, the great socialist family is solid and the country continues to grow strong, and this is an immortal exploit performed by the DPRK mothers for the Workers’ Party of Korea, the revolution and the country.
