It was one Sunday in September 1969.
That morning, President Kim Il Sung summoned an official and asked him to visit some places together.
The official earnestly suggested that Kim Il Sung visit them in the afternoon after having a rest in the morning as that day was Sunday.
Noting that he has never been home on Sundays, Kim Il Sung said that he wanted to visit a near place to grasp its realities and meet its people only on Sunday as he was so busy in ordinary times that he could not often give field guidance to several places. He said with satisfaction that doing so on Sunday was a rest for him.
