The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un once said to officials that it is the first and foremost duty of the government of the Republic to regard the people as the most sacred and omnipotent beings and thoroughly protect and take care of them.
People are the root and foundation of the socialist state and they are responsible for developing it. All the activities of government organs should be wholly oriented and subordinated to safeguarding and realizing the people’s demand and interests and faithfully serving them. This is the way to promote the revolution and construction with success and bring the viability and advantages of socialism into full play.
The Workers’ Party of Korea has attached big importance and paid deep attention to the work of the people’s government organs every period and stage of the revolutionary development. It leads them step by step, so that they can be keenly aware of their sense of duty to bear full responsibility for the people’s livelihood and fulfill the duty.
In 2012 Kim Jong Un underlined that the people’s government champions and guarantees the people’s independent rights and interests as it is the master who is responsible for economy of the country and livelihood of the people.
