Measure Unprecedented in World War History

One day in mid-November 1950 when the Fatherland Liberation War was in height, President Kim Il Sung told officials in the sector of higher education to normalize the university and college education.

That day Kim Il Sung clarified revolutionary principles to be maintained in the wartime training of national cadres, saying that it is good to make students study on their homeland where the people and army men defend the country at the cost of blood, smashing the US imperialists by displaying their unparalleled bravery and mass heroism.

Later in August 1951 Kim Il Sung took a measure to call back university and college graduates and students.

The world war history records examples of sending students to the front. But it has never recorded the fact that students were called back to their university and colleges.

Thanks to the measure taken by Kim Il Sung, many students who had volunteered to the front came back to their university and colleges to restart their study, which was unprecedented in history.
