The 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea set it as the most important revolutionary task of the DPRK government to successfully solve urgent problems related to the improvement of the people’s living.
It is a political issue directly related to dignity of the Republic and authority of the Party to stabilize and improve the people’s living at present.
It is the supreme principle of the Party and state activities and an important policy consistently adhered to by the Party and the government of the Republic to fully and responsibly meet the people’s steadily increasing material and cultural needs.
Improving the people’s living is an important undertaking to make them substantially feel superiority of the socialist system and validity of the people-first politics of the Party and state and to redouble their faith in socialism and confidence in its victory.
