The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un attended the inaugural ceremony of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area that was built superbly as the world-level coastal resort town, the most wonderful maritime park on June 24, 2025.
Going round the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area, Kim Jong Un noted that all the structures in the Wonsan Kalma area are monumental edifices that comprehensively represent the mature phase of the DPRK’s architecture which has made a rapid leap forward with each passing year. He expressed his deep emotion over the building of an eye-opening entity to be recorded as one of the greatest successes in 2025, the year of rounding off the implementation of the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Saying that the coastal resort should play a leading role in establishing our tourist culture, he stressed the need for all the units in charge of its operation to provide all tourists to the scenic spot on the east coast with the highest level of convenience and leisure space in order to help them spend pleasant and satisfactory days.
