It was one day in June 2016 when the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the newly reconstructed Mangyongdae Children’s Camp.
Looking round different places of the camp with satisfaction, Kim Jong Un unexpectedly told officials that it was advisable to build a hydroponic greenhouse and vegetable greenhouse in the big camps in the future.
At that time, the officials thought Kim Jong Un said so as he was anxious about the supply service for the campers.
Kim Jong Un said that, when such greenhouses were built, they would enable the campers to acquire the method of managing and operating them and have practical education and, if the children personally cultivate greenhouse vegetables during their camping period, they could acquire knowledge related to managing and operating greenhouses and it would serve as a good chance to combine their theory with practice.
