Devoting their all to meeting every possible living convenience of the people—this is the basic attitude and trait of secretaries of the primary Party committees wanted by the Workers’ Party of Korea.
At the 2nd Conference of Secretaries of Primary Party Committees held in February 2022, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that, as they are responsible to fully apply the intention and emotion of the Party Central Committee in their units, the secretaries of primary Party committees should deservedly love the people ardently and respect them with sincerity, adding that they should be closer and more friendly to the people at the time when the latter are in difficulties.
Kim Jong Un’s words reflect his will to strengthen and develop the WPK into a motherly party which is responsible for the people’s destiny and makes selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.
Be closer and more friendly to the people—this is a true picture of the secretaries of primary Party committees and herein lies an important guarantee for strengthening the WPK.
