President Kim Il Sung met members of the delegation of Korean businesswomen in Japan on October 9, 1993.

Kim Il Sung said that, as he had said before, the motherland was like their mother. He said that a mother gives birth to a child and brings it up in her benevolent embrace; the motherland is a cradle that provides people with a genuine life of happiness.

Kim Il Sung continued that although living in a foreign land, the Korean businesswomen in Japan should work hard to make their motherland more prosperous with a high sense of awareness that they were legitimate masters of the socialist motherland.
