It was in May 1952, that is, in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War against invasion of the US imperialists and their vassal forces.

An exhibition was held in a great success at the Moranbong Underground Theatre in Pyongyang according to teachings of President Kim Il Sung. The exhibition was to show Pyongyang, the capital city to be reconstructed after the war. It was included by a panoramic view of Pyongyang to be built grandly on debris, a promenade to be paved wonderfully along the Taedong River, smart models showing the formation of the city centre and roads, designs for cozy dwelling houses and modern public buildings, etc.

Looking round the exhibition, the DPRK people and servicemen of the People’s Army were convinced with happiness and hope that they would achieve a sure victory in the war as they had Kim Il Sung who planned future of the country even in flames of the war.
