One spring day in 1933 when they received a mission from President Kim Il Sung, members of an Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Army were waiting for the time to depart.

At that time, an orderly of the Headquarters came and informed them that Kim Il Sung wanted some guerrillas to the Headquarters.

Receiving them who are wet with sweat, Kim Il Sung said that he was going to give them a special mission. Noting that there is no need to be so nervous, Kim Il Sung said that the special mission was to obtain fine-toothed bamboo combs and coarse combs in the battle.

Kim Il Sung said that he dropped in at a bedchamber of the Children’s Corps school some time ago and found that girls did not comb their hair as they had no combs. He repeatedly asked the guerrillas to obtain combs in the battle without fail.
