Inspiring KPRA Men with Conviction of Sure Victory

Kim Il Sung spent New Year’s Day in 1937 with the men of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army in a secret camp.

In the circumstances of that time, when the Japanese imperialists’ repression of the KPRA was intensified to the extreme to concentrate their large “punitive” forces in the area around Mt Paektu, it was inconceivable to spend New Year’s Day at rest in the secret camp.

However, Kim Il Sung made a courageous decision on spending New Year’s Day as he had matchless courage and pluck remaining unchanged no matter how tenaciously the enemy attacked.

Picturing New Year’s Day to be spent in the liberated country, Kim Il Sung told them to become true servants of the people and sang a song to willingly comply with their request at a recreation party.
