Legendary Tactic of Marching Hundreds of Miles at One Go

It was in spring 1939 when a large unit of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army was advancing into the Musan area.

A critical situation occurred when the unit reached Pegae Hill. The enemy mobilized a large force to search and encircle the unit.

After reconnoitering enemy movements, President Kim Il Sung gave his own plan to advance in broad daylight to the Musan area along the Kapsan-Musan guard road that was waiting for inspection by marching hundreds of miles at one go. He clarified that doing boldly what the enemy regarded as impossible was a tactical guarantee of success in this move.

It was, indeed, the mysterious tactic of marching hundreds of miles at one go that could be advanced only by Kim Il Sung possessed of matchless gut, remarkable insight and outstanding military intelligence.
