The 6^th Plenary Meeting of the 8^th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea stressed once again to give top priority and direct all efforts to the emergency epidemic prevention in the state work.

It is the WPK’s steadfast will to regard and defend the people’s lives and health as the most valuable and absolute ones that cannot be bartered for anything.

Even in 2023, the public health crisis that is becoming more serious on the worldwide scale and, in particular, the unstable anti-epidemic situation in neighboring countries and regions threaten the DPRK people’s lives and health every moment. In view of the unstable world anti-epidemic situation, indifference to emergency epidemic prevention will bring unthinkable great disasters.

This proves that all the people should not feel at rest till the malignant epidemic is completely rid of but be brought to awareness to tolerate neither trifling space nor blind point in the emergency epidemic prevention.

Hence, the WPK repeatedly stresses to give top priority and direct all efforts to the emergency epidemic prevention in the state work as ever.
