To Make It Furnish as Work Place for Women

President Kim Il Sung visited a newly-built textile mill one November day in 1974.

It was his second visit since its inauguration. Looking round the mill, the President was satisfied to see women workers making haste with their work skillfully with modern equipment. Suddenly the President stopped walking. He called a woman mechanic to him and asked her whether she felt hot, what indoor temperature was and how high the temperature was in summer. He told officials to make a measure of installing air-coolers for temperature regulation.

Having looked round the mill, the President taught in detail that it was necessary to send a vehicle for baby mothers to take when they went to feed their babies, build more dormitories and keep warmth of the corridor by installing an entrance door not opposite the corridor but on one side of it.
