One day in April 2019 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un returned home from a successful trip to a foreign country, and that night he visited Wonsan Shoes Factory.
Officials of the factory could not contain themselves for joy and surprise. Kim Jong Un told them that he came to the factory to see shoes which were exhibited by the factory as he was told that the shoes were sold in large number in the recent national shoes exhibition.
In front of a testing table in shoe-making shop, Kim Jong Un made the accompanied officials wear shoes of the factory and asked them whether the shoes tightened their feet. One of them said that the shoes were convenient and then Kim Jong Un was much satisfied.
Looking round the designing room, room for education in the revolutionary history and shoe exhibition room, Kim Jong Un was told by a guide that foreigners spoke good of the shoes when they visited the factory and by an official that he put on shoes made of ostrich skin and felt convenient. Kim Jong Un noted that Maebongsan-brand shoes of the factory should capture even foreigners’ envy.
Leaving the factory, Kim Jong Un earnestly requested the officials and employees in the factory to produce more quality shoes favored by the people, keeping the Party’s expectations and trust deep in their minds, thus adding brilliance to Chairman Kim Jong Il’s immortal exploits associated with the factory.
Visiting the factory on several occasions, Kim Jong Un exerted his every possible effort to make shoes of this small local factory the world famous ones.
It was after one o’clock when Kim Jong Un left the factory.
