Kim Jong Il said that the Songun politics of the Workers’ Party of Korea was an original socialist mode of politics that solved in a new scientific way the question of the main force of the revolution and solved it with success, adding that the Korean People’s Army is a revolutionary rank defending the lifeline of the Korean revolution.

Saying that the People’s Army is the most revolutionary, combatant and powerful revolutionary collective in society, Kim Jong Il stressed that the People’s Army was developed into genuine revolutionary armed forces, the invincible army, and was able to fulfil its honourable mission and duty of the core and main force of the revolution thanks to the leadership of the great leader and the great Party.
