In April 2022, that is, in spring when the sun shines brightly, the people moved to new houses in Kyongru-dong, a beautiful terraced residential district, and Songhwa Street which was finely built into a socialist civilized street in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK.

Not only in Pyongyang but everywhere in the DPRK new cities and villages were built, embodying modernity, architectural aesthetics and non-repetitiveness.

Thousands of dwelling houses have been built for miners in the areas of Komdok Mine, Ryongyang Mine and Taehung Youth Hero Mine into a unique mine city, mountainous city. And specifically designed single- and low-storeyed dwelling houses have been built in small rural villages as well as in provincial seats of Jagang Province, North Hwanghae Province and Kangwon Province and the people are moving into new houses.

The working people who are provided with excellent new houses free of charge extend thanks to the great Party Central Committee for protecting their happiness and laughter and bringing them into full bloom even under difficulties caused by the world public health crisis.

Take a bird’s eye view of the land from the sky and you can see new streets and new houses built every part of the country which remind you of beautiful flowers embroidered on a big silk cloth.
