Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to Sindo County, North Phyongan Province in June 2018. Going round several parts of the county, he set forth orientations and ways for bringing about a decisive turn in the reed production.
The officials were looking up to the Supreme Leader who pays deep concern for the normalization of reed production in spite of bad weather.
Saying that it is necessary to make dynamic struggle to increase the per-hectare yield of reed, improve the variety of reed and manure and cultivate them well in Sindo County, the Supreme Leader elucidated in detail the tasks such as the issue of seed, irrigation system, rate of mechanization and transportation.
That day the Supreme Leader stressed again and again to turn the county into a standard and example of reed production as it is the unit visited by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
Keeping his teachings in mind, the officials made firm determination to give brilliance to their leadership feats by turning the county into a standard and example of reed production as intended by the Supreme Leader.
