It was after liberation when Kim Il Sung had a talk with participants in the nationalist movement about the nation-building.

At that time, some of them intended to build a country by relying on other countries with illusion about them.

Seeing through their minds, Kim Il Sung told them that the most important in building a new country was to have the right attitude towards nation-building.

Kim Il Sung stressed that it was possible to achieve complete independence of the country and successfully build an democratic and independent sovereign country, rich and strong, where the Korean people could lead a free and happy life only when they took a firm stand to build their country with their own efforts.

Noting that some people intend to build an independent county in Korea by relying on others, Kim Il Sung awakened them to the aftereffects to be entailed by them.

Thanks to the spirit of national independence put forward by Kim Il Sung in the liberated country, the Korean people could found on their own the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, a glorious country shining brilliantly on the globe.
