It was one day in August 2009.

Going round the freshly changed fish farm with different sorts of cozy breeding ponds and newly equipped facilities, the Chairman smiled a happy smile.

That day, the Chairman told the officials concerned to produce fishes like rainbow trout in large number at the reconstructed and expanded farm so as to provide the people with fish.
He said…It is necessary to develop fish farming. Fish farming is economic production field of high profit. Fresh fish can be supplied to the people all the year round only when fish farming is developed. In recent years, fish farms built by the army and the public produced a large amount of fish, thus contributing big to the improvement of dietary life of the service personnel and the people. This tells validity and vitality of the Party’s policy on developing fish farming.
The officials looked up to the Chairman with reverence.
The Chairman earnestly requested that all fields and units should make revolutionary turn in fish faming to increase fish production rapidly to realize as soon as possible the desires of President Kim Il Sung who had worried in lifetime about the abundant supply of fish to the people.
