Acquainting himself with the staying of overseas compatriots who visited the homeland on the occasion of the birthday of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il asked an official concerned whether the Korean sportspersons in Japan were received by the President.
The official told him that they failed to have a photo taken with the President when the Chongryon(General Association of Korean Residents in Japan) delegation did as they participated in the Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games.
Feeling pity, the Chairman told to organize a photo session for them after the Chongryon art troupe finished performance in presence of the President.
As a result, the Korean sportspersons in Japan could have a photo taken with the President, which they wished so much.
They were moved to tears by the deliberate benevolence of Chairman Kim Jong Il who fathomed their minds.
