In 2004, the secretary general of an international federation selected Chairman Kim Jong Il as the “world first master” in the first item of “Songun Politics-10 Major Events”. Noting that the past ten years were the period of excitement in which the greatness of the Chairman had been further proved in the world, he commented as follows.
Many figures in the world highly praised that “Chairman Kim Jong Il of the National Defence Commission is the master of modern politics who makes a breach in the unfair international order on the strength of his very unique Songun politics”, “a man who is very polite, a man of firm decision, a man who has an extensive knowledge of regional and international issues”, “an excellent leader who is well versed in everything and possessed of perfect qualifications and informal and plain personality”.
According to a public opinion poll held in the USA which is hostile towards the DPRK, Chairman Kim Jong Il was selected as the most popular master throughout the world and praised highly as a man possessed of strong sense of principle, adroit diplomatic talent and distinguished art of command.
