The revolutionary cause of great President Kim Il Sung and his exploits serve as a shining example of all the people who struggle for liberation, sovereignty and independence and lead them, thus remaining unchanged.
The President, the founding father of socialist Korea authored the Juche idea to light up the course ahead of the revolutionaries and people in Korea.
President Kim Il Sung said.
“Today the common task facing the progressive people of the world is to build an independent new world. By an independent world I mean a world which is free from domination and subjugation between countries and nations and from aggression and war, in other words, a new world where the international community has become democratic.”
The President advanced the idea on making the world independent in order to build a free and peaceful new world.
Feeling the pains of the world oppressed people, the President gave positive support and assistance to the struggle for national liberation and a new society in the countries in Africa, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.
It was not a propaganda that Sam Nujoma, the first Namibian president said that Namibia’s independence was ascribed to President Kim Il Sung of the DPRK.
Thanks to the President’s energetic activities, the non-aligned movement became the powerful force of developing countries in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East struggling for independence and solidarity against colonization and imperialism.
The great President gave unstinted support to the people in colonial African countries struggling to realize independence. The President sent many DPRK specialists and technicians to several African countries so as to give helping hands to the building of state and armed forces and the development of industry, agriculture, education, public health, dwellings and sports. The President paid particular attention to the project of teaching the African countries farming methods and irrigation technology in accordance with their climate and terrain environment.

The DPRK agricultural scientists gave technological assistance to establish “Kim Il Sung Institute of Agriculture” in the Republic of Guinea and the “Chollima Institute of Agriculture” in Tanzania of Eastern Africa. Many African countries increased agricultural production thanks to such benevolent concerns.
