The Korean women meaningfully greet the Mother’s Day on November 16 every year.

Greeting the Mother’s Day, all the people across the country extend warm respect and warm congratulations to the mothers who devote their all for harmony and happiness of their families and the society and for the prosperity of the country.
The 4th National Mothers’ Conference was held in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK on November 16, 2012 marking the Mother’s Day.
Present at the conference were heroines of motherhood who delivered many children, women bringing up the parentless children, wives of army officers upholding faithfully the Songun-based revolutionary
The participants in the conference made bow before the bronze statues of the peerlessly great men on Mansu Hill and visited the newly-built Rungna People’s Pleasure Ground, Kyongsang Kindergarten and many other places in Pyongyang.
The Korean feature films “Mother’s Happiness”, “Fortune’s Wheel”, “Women’s Hands”, etc are on show at the theatres and cinemas in Pyongyang on the occasion of the Mother’s Day.
There are also congratulatory meetings, art performances, proud stages and dais of true stories in Pyongyang and other parts of the country.
Congratulatory cards specially prepared for the Mother’s Day are given to the mothers in all parts of the country as well as in Pyongyang.
Service facilities in the capital kindly served the mothers and in different parts mothers enjoy themselves, playing games.
Celebrating significantly the Mother’s Day, they fully realize the great affection of the Workers’ Party of Korea that considered them as flowers of the family, the society and the country.
