    Kosanjin revolutionary site is associated with the immortal feats of President Kim Il Sung who visualized the plan of achieving the final victory in the Fatherland Liberation War(from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953) and organized and led a new counteroffensive operation to bring about a radical turn in the war situation.

    It covers several parts of the 120-ri area in the north-to-south trend centring on the seat of Kosan-ri, Manpho City, Jagang Province, DPRK.

    While staying there for 46 days from November 4 to December 19, 1950, the President put forward the outstanding military strategic policy and led wisely the struggle for it to save the destiny of the country from crisis and lead the Korean people to a decisive victory in the war, thus performing immortal feats which will go down forever in history of the country.

    All working people, servicemen, youth and students of the country are now visiting the revolutionary site in order to learn the excellent military idea, military leadership and lofty virtue of the President.

    Foreigners are also visiting the site with high respect for the President.
