Jo Hwa Mi, a process engineer at the Sinuiju Pharmaceutical Factory in North Phyongan Province, is an unusual woman of wide knowledge and a passionate woman who was awarded over 70 sci-tech certificates while working in one occupation for over 50 years.

For over 50 years when she has worked in one occupation of the factory by placing the state affairs before her family affairs, Jo achieved valuable sci-tech successes and made more than 70 valuable sci-tech inventions and thus was highly praised by the Party and the state.
