    Establishing the traits of attaching importance to military affairs means regarding national defense as the most important affairs and making it a mode of daily life of all members of the society to live and work on the principle of directing top-priority efforts to strengthening it.

    1)Giving importance to military affairs is the fundamental guarantee for gaining victory in the anti-imperialist military front, the lifeline of the Korean revolution, and defending socialism firmly.

    The anti-imperialist military front is the DPRK’s lifeline deciding the destiny of the Party, the state and the people. When the traits of giving importance to military affairs is established in the whole society, it is possible to defeat aggressive moves of imperialism and defend socialism by building up the self-reliant defense with the KPA as a core.

    

    2)Attaching importance to military affairs is the key to a great upsurge in building a thriving nation by further strengthening the motive force of the revolution with the KPA as a core.

    The cause of a great, prosperous and powerful nation can be successfully achieved only by strengthening the motive force of the revolution with the KPA as a core and main agent and giving full play to its role. When the traits of giving importance to military affairs is established in the whole society, an all-society and all-state efforts can be concentrated on strengthening the KPA, so that it can fulfill with credit its mission and duty of being the main force in the building of a thriving nation. In addition, a great upswing can be brought about on all fronts of building a thriving nation in the course of learning after the revolutionary soldier spirit and fighting spirit of the KPA.
