It is divided into 4 terraces and it is 15 meters high from the lowest stage to the top one.

In the past, the Japanese imperialists brutally destroyed the mausoleum of King Kyonghyo to plunder all relics stored inside.
President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the mausoleum of King Kyonghyo and instructed to preserve and manage well the relics that show high sculpture techniques of ancestors and hand them over to posterity, adding that the stone sculptures of the tombs are excellent.
Today the mausoleum of King Kyonghyo is being preserved and managed finely thanks to the Workers’ Party of Korea’s correct policy of preserving national cultural heritage.
