Number of workers who take doctorate is increasing now in the DPRK where all people study free of charge during their whole life at the state expense.
Choe Bok Sun who works at Koryo Foodstuff Processing Factory was born as the fourth of brother-and-sister fivesome. She lost her father in her childhood. But her brothers and sisters were brought up and studied without any worries under the grateful socialist system.
Choe began to work after graduating from a middle school, but she studied hard without wasting time to live up to benevolence of the country and developed a new product. Choe made several inventions with ardent passion by the help of officials and workers of the factory. Choe enrolled in the studying-while-working system to receive higher education. With valuable inventions and many papers, she had already got master’s degree. Later, Choe solved a difficult scientific and technical problem, thus putting production of her factory on a normal track. Choe took doctorate in March 2022.
