True to the decision of the 4^th plenary meeting of the 8^th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, all provinces in the DPRK regard the reenergizing production of local industrial factories as an urgent issue related directly to improvement of the people’s living standard and concentrate efforts for it.

They supply enough raw materials to local industrial factories.

Several provinces including North and South Hwanghae Provinces pay much attention to the project of putting on a normal track the production of caustic soda bases that were built last year and at the same time establish rational procurement system to run it effectively.

They also positively renovate and modernize the local industrial factories.

North Phyongan Province pays primary efforts to condiments production increase by automating and streamlining soy sauce and paste process of foodstuff factories to maximize their production capacity and by manufacturing and installing new oil presses capable of enhancing oil expression rate.

North Hwanghae Province plans to renovate and modernize the Sariwon Condiments Factory, accelerates preparations for it and promotes rebuilding and repairing Sariwon Bag Factory to provide students with smart and quality bags.

Several cities and counties in South Hamgyong Province make positive efforts to modernize local industrial factories and develop the production capacity of consumer goods.
