Recently a new type of 6-axis alternating electric locomotive was developed in the DPRK in consonance with its realities.
A new type of alternating electric locomotive which is high in output and advanced in haulage, speed and control was studied and manufactured by strength and technology of the Korean workers, thus opening the prospect of further improving transport capacity of the railway.
Manufacturing of the 6-axis alternating electric locomotive will inspire and encourage to struggle for bigger feats the Korean people who have turned out in the glorious 80-day Campaign towards the 8th Congress of the WPK.
