Not only a socialist economic giant but a socialist civilized nation is built by a number of talents.

    Making all the people well versed in science and technology and developing the DPRK into a talented nation is the target that can set only by the WPK which administers the politics of giving importance to the people and loving them.

    In order to make all the people well versed in science and technology and develop the DPRK into a talented nation, it is, first of all, necessary to enhance the role of officials in the sector of education.

    The officials in the sector of education should complete the educational system and improve governance to education so that they can satisfactorily train new type of talents required by the era.

    Completing the educational system is to have the key to development of education in the new century and it is an important matter to be primarily solved in the educational revolution.

    It is important for the sector of education to further improve and complete the secondary general education system so that the universal 12-year compulsory education can be enforced in line with the Party’s intention proving effective.

    It is also important to readjust the high education system which suits to the world trend and in which more and better talents needed by the building of a thriving country can be trained.

    It is also important to realize the unified governance of the state to education and enhance independent character and responsibility of educational organs of all levels, thus training more competent talents required by the era and the reality.

    It is also necessary to bring about a radical improvement in education in the new century by arousing state and social interest in the educational work.

    It is important to increase the state investment in education.

    All sectors should regard educational work as a part of their work, always pay deep attention to it and help solving the problems arising in the sector of education with responsibility.

    The DPRK has enough conditions and possibilities to train the population to be well versed in science and technology and develop her into a talented nation.

    She has the compulsory education system for rising generation and various kinds of learning-while-working education system such as factory specialized school, factory college, correspondence and evening-school education, the nation-wide study system and passing-on-technique system, whose charges are stand by the state.

    To meet the requirements of the era of IT industry, she also makes the organs and enterprises have the dissemination room of science and technology and thus establishing the on-line education system. E-library has been built in every province, city and county so that data can be read through the national network.

    The DPRK will translate in the near future the WPK’s plan of making all the people well versed in science and technology and developing her into a talented nation into reality under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
