The DPRK also enforces thoroughly the people’s democratic dictatorship, one of the important functions for the socialist political power, to destroy the hostile forces’ move to ruin the socialist system, thus enabling the working people to work and live true to the requirements of socialism.
The DPRK also firmly defends and develops the socialist ownership in the field of economy.
Defending and developing socialist ownership is a fundamental issue to hold fast to the socialist principle, the collectivist principle in the field of economy.
The DPRK maintains firm stand that the masses of the people can be provided with independent and creative life befitting the genuine masters of the society only on the basis of the socialist ownership. Experienced through practice that only the socialist ownership can provide them with affluent and cultured life, the Korean people value the socialist ownership and make active efforts for its consolidation and development.
The DPRK also struggles against imperialism.

Upholding the banner of the anti-imperialist struggle, the DPRK has staunchly struggled without any compromise or concession with imperialism in the whole historic process of its revolutionary struggle and is now safeguarding independence and justice while destroying every imperialist move at the first line of anti-imperialist front.
