     The new year 2015 will be a year of significance, in which the DPRK will mark the 70^th anniversaries of liberating Korea from the military occupation of the Japanese imperialists and founding the glorious Workers’ Party of Korea.

    Greeting this significant year, the Korean people are looking back with great pride and dignity upon the glorious 70-year history of the great Party and homeland and they are full of confidence and optimism with a determination to follow the Party and achieve final victory in the Juche revolution pioneered on Mt. Paektu.

    The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, in his new year address, set forth the slogan “Let us all turn out in the general offensive to hasten final victory in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu!” for the Korean people in order to score a signal success in the struggle to defend socialism and the building of a thriving nation this year, thus celebrating the 70^th anniversaries of national liberation and founding of the WPK as revolutionary, auspicious events.

    The Korean people’s general offensive for the final victory in the Juche revolution is a sacred struggle to realize at an earliest date the beautiful dreams and ideals of the popular masses whose regard independence as their life and soul, exalt the dignity of the country and achieve its prosperity. This sacred struggle is to further solidify the country’s political, ideological and military might and build an economic giant and a civilized nation at an earlier date. It is also the difficult struggle to scathingly thwart the vicious challenges and manoeuvres by hostile forces.

    In order to win victory in defending socialism and building a thriving nation, all the service personnel and people should display the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, an unyielding offensive spirit of braving obstacles and difficulties and a staunch fighting spirit of rising up no matter how often one may fall and fighting it out.

    The revolutionary spirit of Paektu is the bloodline linking the lifeline of mightiness and eternal prosperity of Kim Il Sung’s nation and Kim Jong Il’s Korea and the powerful treasured sword of the final victory.

    Only when the hearts of all the service personnel and people beat with the confidence in victory and indomitable spirit cherished by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners who fought death-defyingly for their country and people and won victory against all odds, leaping innovation can be made in the building of a thriving socialist nation. And the desperate maneuvers of hostile forces to stifle the DPRK, fortress of independence and justice can be frustrated and the sovereignty of the country and the dignity of the nation firmly defended.

    The slogan “Let us all turn out in the general offensive to hasten final victory in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu!” rouses all the service personnel and people to the general offensive of this year giving full vein to their patriotic enthusiasm and immortal mental strength.

    No force in the world checks the Korean service personnel and people who are marching forward under the leadership of the great Party, upholding this slogan, and final victory undoubtedly belongs to them.
