The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth the task to further consolidate the political and ideological position of the Korean revolution in the New Year Address.
Kim Jong Un said:
“The political and ideological position is a fortress that decides the victory and failure in the battle of defending socialism, and consolidating the revolutionary ranks politically and ideologically is the most important task facing us.”
The political and ideological position decides rise and fall, and the future of socialism.
Socialism is defended and advanced only by the purposeful and conscious struggle of the popular masses who are united into one on the basis of the revolutionary idea of the leader. After all, the victory and failure in the battle of defending socialism depends on how to strengthen the political position and ideological position.
The New Year Address clarified solidifying the Party organizationally and ideologically, train all the members of society to be equipped with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and cement the single-hearted unity of the revolutionary ranks this year marking the 40th anniversary of the programme of modelling the whole society on Kimilsungism advanced by Chairman Kim Jong Il.
In order to further consolidate the political and ideological position it is imperative to solidify the Party politically and ideologically.
The Party is a hardcore and pivotal forces of the revolutionary ranks. Solidifying the Party is a prerequisite to and fundamental guarantee for strengthening the whole of the revolutionary ranks.
It is possible to solidify the Party politically and ideologically and further consolidate the political and ideological position of the revolutionary ranks only when establishing the monolithic leadership system in the Party, definitely ensure the purity of Party ranks and improve the militant functions and role of Party organizations.
It is also imperative to intensify ideological education among officials, Party members and other working people.
The political and ideological unity of the revolutionary ranks is not realized of its own accord. All the members of the society can arm themselves with the revolutionary idea of the leader and the political and ideological unity be realized only through the continuous ideological education.
The New Year Address clarified that it is necessary to intensify ideological education among officials, Party members and other working people to ensure that they think and act at all times and in all places in line with the Party’s ideas and intentions with the steadfast faith that they know only President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the Party.
It is important to wage a vigorous struggle to stamp out any sort of undermining the single-hearted unity and the socialist system in further consolidating the political and ideological position.
